在早上用in還是on

在早上用in。in和on都是英語當中常用的介詞,in一般用在世紀、年份、季節、早上、晚上前面,例如in the mroning在早上。on一般用於星期幾、幾號、特定的時間以及weekend前面,例如on 20th May在五月二十號。

（1）on表示時間，用於星期、日期（包括該天的各部分）。如：on Sunday／Sundays，on Monday morning／afternoon／evening等。

on也用於某一日的名詞前，用於公共節假日前。如：

On New Year's Day在元旦，on Children's Day在兒童節等。

（2）on表示地點、位置，有"在......旁"、"接近"、"靠近"之意。如：

a house on the main road臨大街的房子，sit on my right坐在我的右邊

（3）on表示狀態，譯為"處於......情況中，從事於......"等。如：

on duty值日，on holiday度假

He lived in a small village.他過去住在一個小村子裏。

There are many stars in the sky.空中有很多星星。

He is the tallest boy in the class.他是班裏個子最高的男孩。

二、表示在一段時間之後

My father will come back in a month.我父親將於一個月後回來。

三、表示狀態，情況或境遇

The old man is in good health.這位老人身體很好。

His grandmother's life is in danger.他祖母生命危險。

The woman is in trouble.這位婦女處於困境中。

四、表示一段時間

We'll play football in the afternoon.下午我們將踢足球。
